Bought these to replace a previous pair of Hitecs, attracted by rigidity of sole and lightness. They are very comfortable, the novel lace design works well, & they are commendably rigid, but they skidded really badly in cautious walking on a smooth & damp concrete surface, and I can feel stones etc. through the soles, of which I was unaware with the previous pair.
