The ASICS GT-2160 Autumn/Winter 2011 Running Shoes continue to go from strength to strength. The shoe is perfect for the serious runner in need of some additional support to prevent against overpronation. The main difference between the 2160 and the 2150 is the addition of Guidance Line, which is designed to give you a more efficient path through the gait cycle. Excellent general-purpose running shoe
Running in these shoes is like having pillows attached to your feet. I have broad (width size F to G) size 9 feet & these are a very comfy fit with no slipping or looseness. These are designed for people who need a bit of support under their foot arch & need decent cushioning. I am 14 stone & having used these, I didnt suffer any foot ache or knee strain unlike my previous shoes. I did replace the original insoles with some sorbothane inserts just to be on the safe side. I run mainly on roads, paths & a little cross-country. The shoes appear to be well made although I havent had them long. In short, I am very pleased with them. Recommended.

Great light weight running shoe
My last running shoe was the predecessor to this shoe, which I ran 18 miles a week on pavements for almost 18 months before they completely wore out, and I could not fault them, so these had a lot to live up to. They were delivered promptly, and I could tell the moment I put them on that they were a perfect fit for me, the instep is well built up, and they offer a lot of support which is important for me as I am flat footed, they are also very light. I ran 6 miles the first time out in these with no feeling that the shoe needed time to break in, they are very well vented, so if you run more than a couple of miles in the rain your feet will get wet, not a problem for runners, but worth bearing in mind if you were buying as a every day trainer. Will definitely buy again.
