Trekking in Madagascar over all types of terrain
I bought these for my recent trip to Madagascar, which involved trekking over canyon, rainforest, bush, desert and beach. These sandals were a delight for the following reasons:

Comfortable and functional
I bought these sandals for a trip to Costa Rica which included walking on beaches, rainforest and streets. These sandals were great for all circumstances. They were really comfortable at all times and did not rub when they got wet. I think they also achieve a practical, comformatable walking sandal that is not bulky and unattractive. My only slightly negative comment is that they were not very quick drying once wet, but then that could have been because of the high humidity. I travelled with someone else who had the exact same sandals and she thought they were great as well.
