Expensive but comfortable
Lets not beat around the bush, these are expensive. I have purchased these to get me through the London Marathon 2013, having owned for previous version for a couple years.

Firstly, these are padded up to the hilt, and are like having a settee strapped to each foot. Minimalistic they are not! They are however a bit wider than the previous models, and are very light and comfortable. The tread on the bottom is really grippy- noticeably so.

I would give them 5 stars but for the price. However, for the price, if you want comfort, then these are for you.

Good trainers
They'r good, you can feel the difference asa soon as you wear them but on the inside of the legs they are not v well finished and you can get nice blisters if you run more than 5 miles. I'm still thinking what to do to adjust them :))

An ok neutral running shoe
I am a fan of the Asics Nimbus and have used it for a good number of years now. This model feels smaller and less cushioned than previous models. Friends who have also bought the model 14 have expressed similar views about it. I have been able to run in previous models straight out of the box but this pair has needed a little breaking in. Furthermore, this is the first Asic shoe to give me blisters. The cushioning feels firm and no different to my old model 13's that have been pounded. In all, I am disappointed with these and would advise runners requiring a neutral shoe to try these on before buying them.
