Excellent walking boot, even better than previous version and has much better grip on wet rocks. Previous Hillmaster was a little slippery on wet rocks; I do a lot of coast path and beach walking. Slightly broader fit also than Hillmaster 1.

as someone who walks 350 miles a month , 200 on concrete , and 150 on hills , mountains and pete bogs i can see this isnt a good boot , but its not a bad boot either .

the soles could be more heavy duty , the leather could be better quality , and the price could be cheaper .!!

i cant afford to keep buying boots all the time ! they dont last 5 minutes , lets have some boots what take 20 stone , walking 4500 miles per year on tough terrain , before they get thrown in the bin , for a little less than what i payed for these ???
