Great shoe option to improve squats and power lifts
The Power Perfect II is a well priced, well designed weightlifting shoe for those looking to improve their squats and power exercises.
The design is simple (if not a little 'bowling shoe') and can be passed off without looking stupid. If you are tentative about this purchase, the raised heel and stable sole really make it so much easier to fall into a full depth squat. If you remove flexibility as a limiter of our squat, then your power can improve and your numbers can increase. Chorleywood Sports delivered very fast and exactly as described. I would order 0.5 size bigger than you normally wear.

solid base for lifting
I used to squat, deadlift and do my other lifts wearing my running shoes. This was ok-ish for a while. Once I surpassed my bodyweight and began lifting a good portion more in my deadlift, wearing my running shoes with their soft, cushioned based was like standing on a matress. My ankles came inwards slightly during squats/deadlifts when the running shoes' sole gave in to the weight, which gave me a bad base to lift from to begin with.
When I started to learn the snatch / c&j I decided to invest in a proper pair of shoes. So far I don't regret it - my squat and deadlift have become much more solid now that my feet stand like rocks. I recommend these shoes.

A word of caution though: like others have pointed out, these shoes are for lifting. Not for running, not for walking to the gym. Due to the hard sole they are awkward to walk around much in. I only wear them when I do my lifts. For warming up, coming to the gym, cooling down and so on I still wear my running shoes or...

Adidas classics
I brought these trainers for 2 reasons. the first is that i needed some trainers for indoor use rather than the astro turf trainers that i was using. The second is that i used to use these trainers when they were new and fesh to the market. I think they look great and they feel good to wear and play in. A good purchase for me.

The iconic Adidas Adi Racer Goodyear trainers are amazing as they have always been and this new release is just as good. The POWER
I was going to buy the adidas adistar in 08 but thought I would wait until I was better at lifting, decided to buy some shoes this year and decided to get these as they were the newest version, I wanted the wooden heel as in the adistar but thought I guess it wouldn't matter anyway.

I love these shoes. I wear size 10 and bought a pair of 10 and fit perfect- (a lot of places say order a little smaller but this isn't the case for me)

They are a solid platform to lift in, feet are firmly planted to the ground for all the lifts, heel is strong and strap is heavy duty.

Recommend and definitely a good buy. Squatting to full depth is smooth and you really feel the difference from squatting in chucks or barefoot.

Broke in 4 months
Bought these for my husband for Christmas... I went for the best and most expensive Olympic lifting shoes so they would last as we are in South Africa and Olympic lifting shoes are not available here. He has used them purely for his Olympic lifting and the one sole is already detaching from the shoe!!! Surely for this amount of money and a reputable brand they should last more than 4months!!! I am waiting to see if I can get them replaced by the seller or by Adidas and will change this post accordingly but currently I am HIGHLY unsatisfied!

Very grippy boots
I bought a pair of these boots as I had heard before buying them that they were very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I think they are marvellous. I keep forgetting that I am wearing boots. They really do feel like lightweight, grippy training shoes. They are very comfortable, waterproof and have amazing traction on wet and dry surfaces alike. I like the fact that I can run up and down steps/stairs very quickly, which I find difficult in most other boots. My feet don't ache or feel too hot at the end of the day. I will be buying another pair when the time arrives to replace them. Recommended!

reasons for 4*
1 - good design, very stylish, very comfortable
2 - light and thin sole allowing me to glide around the ring quickly and easily
3 - very good grip; being a half wrestling shoe they have a very good grip on the sole, something i find extremely helpful when darting into range for a combo and then back out of range
4 - good price; slightly more than the other brands like lonsdale however the quality of these is extremely good, the boots are not chavy and they are likely to last for a long while

5* will be if they are still here and working well in several months. at this point i am extremely sure that they will be.

if looking for boxing shoes, just save time searching and buy these

Excellent shoes
First of all I don't know why folks are complaining about these not being good for outdoors. These shoes are ment for indoor use, so you don't get the boxing ring or wrestling mats dirty/damaged. I have been involved in Mma for 13 years and these are by far the best shoes I've had, they shape around your feet easily and have a pocket in the tongue to hold you're dangling shoe laises.
Don't waist time on others as these are perfect, they were used in the Olympics .
