Disappointing
I was disappointed with these MBT's, as I have been wearing MBT's now for 4 years. I had ordered a size 4, which I normally wear, but far to big. I really think that if you need a pair in the shoe department try on in a shop first for fit and then order. The sandals would probably not be a problem but be careful of the shoes.
I would say that Amazon returns service is excellent and if your not able to see in shop, go ahead and order with Amazon, as you can return with no quibble :)

Great for the treadmill
While the shoes were a perfect fit, they were a bit tight at the toes when I wore them with the included socks. I have not tried a larger size since I bought this item online, but I imagine that a larger size would have been too big. I decided to discard the socks and use the mesh tongues instead, which solved the problem. This is my first pair of barefoot shoes so I cannot compare but they feel very light, flexible and comfortable. I bought them to use them on the treadmill. I wasn't comfortable in regular trainers or in socks, but these shoes feel just right and I no longer have an excuse for not using the treadmill. The only snag is that the mesh tongues are a bit hard at one end (the outer end) and they rub on the skin, so I had to wear ultra thin socks to prevent friction. This is why I am giving them only a 4. It is hoped that the manufacturer will address this problem in by making the tongues softer.

Fantastic
My first barefoot shoe and this is simply brilliant. I am a size 6.5 in normal trainers, 6 in day shoes. I bought a size 6 and had to remove the inner sock, otherwise my toes were pushing the end of the shoe. I would really reccomend this shoe for value, quality and style and comfort. I think I will struggle to put my old trainers on....a fab product, give it a go and your running will never be the same! Excellent service all round.
