Great entry level shoe
This is my first pair of road bike shoes and I am very pleased with them. I have only used them a couple of times on circa 20 mile runs on fairly flat roads, and they were great. My feet felt well supported and the three straps hold the shoe on very well (better than those I tried on with only 2 straps).

Worth mentioning a couple of things: There is a small hole in the bottom of the shoe between the 1st and 2nd toe to let some air into the shoe to stop your feet over-heating (hole can be seen in the pictures). I have found this to be perfect for the intended purpose, but maybe not everyone will like this feature (by the way, one of my rides was a wet ride and no water at all got into the shoe).

Secondly, I would recommend getting a size larger than you would in normal shoes - I am a size 9 (wide), and found a 10 to be spot-on.

Good shoe. I would happily recommend.

Good-solid entry level shoes, comfortable and well built
You may want to duct tape the hole at the front of the outsole during early spring and late autum or your feet will go cold numb on mid/long rides. Other than that good-solid entry level shoes, comfortable and well built. Pedal safe!

Good SPD shoes
Good shoes, good value for money. Shoes are pretty narrow, but comfortable after a bit of wear. Cleats are recessed into the soles which means they are comfortable to wear out and about, so no need to bring an change of shoes. One thing to note is that unlike most shoes I've seen, these EU sizes are about 2 sizes smaller. Eg. I'm usually an EU 46/7 (UK 12) but I had to buy these in 48 (UK 14).

Great shoes
I read up online about having to get a size bigger. I just looked at my trainers and then bought exactly the same size and these are a perfect fit. Simple to attach, firm base for power transfer and easy to put on/take off. I'm sure there may be more stylish shoes but as they are getting covered in mud most of the time I don't care.

Hi everybody.I'm an XC rider,I take place in marathon,endurance and epic XC races.I needed something tough and comfort,because when ridding a bike for 5-6 hours non-stop racing you need to be comfortable. I managed to try this ride and they are brilliant!

First of all,when installing the cleats,be careful not to tighten the screws too much not to hurt them.It's easy to install the cleats,just remove the base which the screws hold and place the cleats.I use them with crank brothers eggbeaters and they work together perfect!I used the crank brothers cleats screws and not the shoes screws.If doing that,be careful because if the screws are too long,you're gonna injure the inner shoe (and so your foot...)!
