Best trail shoes I have bought
As I have fairly flat feet I usually have to endure a period of gently breaking in trainers followed by weeks of chronic blisters and permanently wearing compeed pads. In the case of a pair of Salomon XR missions I recently bought sometimes I just have to plain give up, turns out that was a blessing in disguise. If it had not been for the chronic discomfort that the salomons caused I would never of found these, as far as I can see these outperform the salomons in every way. First out of the box you will be struck by how insanely light they are, and despite the picture they really are not chunky. I take an 11.5 uk in salomons and asics but went for the 11uk in these and they fit perfectly, nice and snug round the heel and mid foot with just enough room in the toe box. I will probably change the laces to something less elastic as it is hard to judge the required pressure but once they are on they fit like a glove. There is a little drop from heel to toe but less pronounced than many...
