Great Boots for riding in all weathers, I used them for distance riding in Poland in very wet weather. When first trying they were very snug fit, initially I put on with a very thin sock, they quickly moulded to the foot and then I used a thicker sock. The rear zip is great, it was tight at first but is now a real smooth zip. Do remeber the zip is full length so I would not use them as a wading boot in deep water but very adequate in puddles etc without giving a soggy foot The tall boot gives great leg support especiall when riding for riding 4 hours plus at a stretch. They were elegant enough for fellow riders to compliment on stle and were togh enough when horse stamped on my foot with a steel shoe they did not cut or rupture. Fanatastic value @
