Great off road shoe
I finally bought these after a few years of my running shoes getting wrecked every time I ran in the forest. They have been a great buy - tough and good grips, kept my feet warm and dry spite running through big puddles and muddy trails. Would highly recommend. I normally run in an asics gel nimbus size 8.5 but needed a size 9 in these shoes. Amazon did a super speedy exchange - requested one evening, trainers arrived next day even before I had posted the original pair back.

Bit on the small side
I bought these shoes because I usually buy Asics running shoes and up until now have felt confident buying online as the fit and cushioning seems to suit my feet/running style. I bought a size larger to avoid bruised toes (as I always do and this has been satisfactory with my previous Asics shoes) but on trying the shoes on, found them to be of quite a narrow fit. I compared the sole with my other Asics shoes and they are indeed noticeably narrower. These are my first trail shoes so maybe this is the norm, I don't know. Length wise, there's room for my toes so it does just seem to be the width. They are wearable, but if I'd bought these in a shop I'd probably have gone up a size again. It's my own fault; previous reviewers seemed to find this too but I chose not to pay attention!
