So comfortable I'm going on more walks now than I've ever done I my feet are definately not complaining. The ankle support does seem to help strengthen your leg so you don't seem to wobble quite as much when on rough terrain and as expected from a boot of this quality the tread is very substantial thus preventing you slipping even when on the most jagged of rocks. Highly recommended.

Having been looking for hiking boots for a while now, and being told by numerous people "You have to break them in" i had never found a pair i could wear for more than a few days as they rubbed, But the minute i put these on, my feet loved them. Most comfortable hiking boot ive ever had, very well made and no rubbing whatsoever!! Will be buying another pair so i can alternate them, well worth the money!

This review refers to size 9 (continental size 43).

Bought these to replace another pair of Grisports that lasted ages and were very comfortable.

I found these extremely comfortable straight out the box and a perfect fit with a nice thick pair of socks. I expect the Vibram sole to last well (the previous pair did). They are waterproof.

Although not an extreme walking shoe, these are perfectly capable for moderate rambling and rock hopping. The sole is flexible but resilient enough to enable walking on rough ground, rocks or sharp gravel. The uppers are a supple brown leather with a slightly matt finish. With a clean and polish, they are also good enough looking to get away with for casual wear.

Sturdy and comfortable
This is the second pair of these shoes I have owned. The previous pair, which are still going strong, though the soles are finally wearing thin, have lasted me for over 3 years, having been worn most days in all weathers.

The shoes are sturdy and comfortable. The pair I have ordered though Amazon are the same and I look forward to another 3 years of use.

I'm really pleased with this boot, very comfortable with good support and a good price tag.

Seven years ago I bought a pair of these boots, and enjoyed their sturdy soles that gripped almost any surface well, their light weight and comfortable feeling, to the extent that I seldom was even aware that I had shoes on. I was never once bothered by sore feet, even on my longest trek of 10 hours.
My only regret is that the soles parted from the uppers, on both boots at the same time, a few months ago. It seems that the material that enables manufacture of light boots has a limited life span.
Through the maker's number on the shoes I was able to find at Amazon the same boot in the same size, and with the same good features. I was delighted to find an old friend!
The speed of the delivery astounded me. I placed an order at 21:30 (Tokyo time) on Monday, and had them in hand at 15:00 (Tokyo time) on Wednesday, only a day and a half later, a full week before the estimated time of delivery.
