They are a little less comfortable than best Asics models but enough for off road fast walking (not running), with good grip on slightly muddy trails. Thank you to the lugs. What a difference with classic running shoes !

The outsole seems to resist small stones (no cuts on the sole, but very recent purchase). But be carefull ! Abrasion resistant rubber seems not to like wet tiled floors : if the sole or floor are wet, it slides.

First time I bought shoes with Gore-tex. Very good surprise. It does its job in wet grass. Not tested with rain.

Almost perfect
I have only one issue with these. The price was good, the waterproofing is excellent and they don't look too bad. My issue is the width. I swear by asics, but these are my first dedicated trail running shoes, and I need a wider fit. I searched for wide fit trail asics and these were only 1 of 2 styles offered. The result is they tend to feel a little tight on longer runs. Thankfully I only tend to do 5k off road in them, and the longest has been only 11k, so they haven't proven to be too much of a problem, and I haven't blistered in them as yet. Sadly though, unless asics come up with a wider fit for off-road, I may just have to switch brand.
